Well, Halloween is right around the corner. Halloween is my favorite time of year. It’s not just the spooky holiday and all the spooky, scary themes and images. There is also the feel and smell of autumn I love so much. The one time of year when you aren’t to cold and you aren’t too hot. You can actually put on enough clothing to be perfectly cozy and content. The rustling of the recently fallen leaves. There are the rituals and traditions that go along with autumn too. Whether you are or aren’t a hunter, it is a huge tradition in Michigan and comes with many different traditions and rituals in and of itself. In honor of Halloween, this is a collection of some of my darker themed photography.
