Artist's Description
A friend I've only seen once in the past 21 years was in town today so her cousin can do pictures of her kids. So I asked if they could do them at the nature preserve where I always go so I could go up there and see them.
I didn't take pictures of her kids as I didn't want to step on her cousin's toes (that would be insulting and disrespectful) and I figured maybe I could learn something. Before we left I saw the sun shining on that lone tree and thought it would make a great pic. I stopped and snapped a few pics when my friend's son ran into the shot. My friend apologized but I said no, it was perfect as there was something I had already wanted to try. So I took the shot with him in it and the shot just before that and merged them, did a lot of other work and when I was done, I looked at it and OMG! I KNOW that feeling!
